Join artist Sarah Brown as she shares the story of her practice - from the decision to pursue a degree in art, through the formative years after graduation, to her current work as a maker pushing the boundaries of glass.

In this honest and reflective talk, Sarah will discuss where she finds inspiration, how she challenges traditional approaches to working with glass, and how she tackles those moments when an idea has no obvious method of making. What do you do when you can see something clearly in your mind, but have no idea how to bring it into the world? This is not a technical workshop, but a candid exploration of creative persistence, experimentation, and how to keep going when there is no map to follow.

Sarah will share insights on embracing uncertainty, staying curious, and the continuous adventure of discovering new possibilities in her chosen medium. Expect stories, reflections, and a few hard-earned lessons from a journey that began with a childhood dream: to make things, always.
