Nathan Sandberg

Nathan Sandberg is a Portland-based glass artist and educator known for his innovative kiln-glass techniques. After eight years at Bullseye Glass Company, he founded Nathans LLC in 2012 and became a leading figure in glass education. He pioneered modern Vitrigraph methods and, in 2020, shared his Flatop Dropout Rings and Dropout Paste, making dropout vessels more accessible. His studio, OnGrade, recently expanded and now supports both his personal practice and the local artist community. While glass is his primary medium, his installations often include wood, metal, and concrete. Nathan’s work is held in collections worldwide and taught globally.
